Technical Room and Basic Security

The Timans Act of 2014 established standards for technical rooms (laser rooms, operating rooms) based on the procedures performed there.

Nevertheless, certain basic rules have always seemed obvious to us for the past 30 years, and we apply them based on pure medical and hygienic common sense.

1/ Surgical procedures (even minor ones) must be performed in a room separate from the consultation room.

2/ This room must be equipped with professional ceiling lighting (surgical lights) to ensure the precision of the procedures performed.

3/ This room must have adequate ventilation and air conditioning if lasers are used there.

4/ This room must be equipped with monitoring and emergency intervention facilities in case of allergy to injected anaesthetics or other products.

5/ The room must be equipped with a viral filter suction system if vaporising lasers are used: hair removal laser - CO2 laser - QS laser (tattoo removal).
